This is the information on the X2212 Programmer. This rom is used in many GE radios. If your radio has this rom this software will help you out. If it uses something else (like the X2444 in the PSX series you still need the GE suitcase programmer!) This is a multistep process. 1. Read and write the rom using the X2212 program. It has a recifier so that polarity and current type (ac/dc) are not important. It has solder pads on the board if you would like to power it from the PS/2 connector instead (that is how I power mine on my laptop). PROBLEM OCCURS IF THE POWER IS CYCLED WITHOUT HAVING THE DB-25 PLUGGED IN....IT PROGRAMS BAD BITS!!!
