This is the tracker I built for my motorcycle (Suzuki DRZ-400)

It was built using a Kenwood TH-26AT 2m frequency agile 5W talkie.

In the old battery pack (PB-10) I put a TinyTrakIII, I also incorporated a power

supply for the GPS receiver (DigiTraveler), as well as for the radio. NO modifications were made to the radio itself allowing it to also be used for voice if the need ever arose. I was not able to find a suitable (small low profile) mic/speaker connector that I liked, so I built one using epoxy. The LED’s from the TinyTrak were reversed so that the LED could be seen from the outside of the case. Below are a series of pictures of the finished project. The DigiTraveler was also modified to allow external power and power on from the RJ-11 connector. Pictures of that mod are also here.

All Pictures can be found HERE for the tracker or HERE for the DigiTraveler.

The GPS is Velcro’d to the front fender and the radio is mounted to the left forks and is just visible from the drivers view.
